Applications. What do you use old oak panels for?

Cabinets and furniture made of panels

Our oak panels are ideally suited for solid wood cabinets, sideboards and built-in cupboards. Due to the birch plywood substrate, they do not warp - ideal for large cabinet doors.

Kitchen and bathroom panels

Combine old oak wagon boards with a sleek kitchen worktop for a kitchen full of character. In the bathroom, we recommend treating the panels with a moisture-resistant oil.

Wall panels and door panels

Wooden wall panels and door panels of old oak give instant character to a room. Lengths up to 250 cm - suitable for continuous slats from ceiling to floor.

Panel-based tables

For table tops, our glued oak panels (solid, 20 or 23 mm) work excellently - stable, lived-in and can be made to measure immediately.

Sustainable reuse. The stories behind our panels

Each panel is made from wood that has already lived a life. Floors from Eastern European farms, wagon parts from decommissioned railcars, wall boards from Alpine farms. We collect it ourselves, select by board, and give it a second life in your interior. No new trees, no anonymous factory emissions. Just honest reuse with character.

Frequently asked questions about old oak panels

What is the difference between inside and outside panels?

Inside panels are made from the inside of old oak planks and are lighter in color. Outside panels come from the outside and are darker and more lived-in.

Are the panels solid or glued?

Our oak panels are glued to a base of birch plywood (inside/outside) or black MDF (wagon boards). The top layer is solid old oak. This prevents working due to temperature or moisture differences.

What thickness of oak panel do I need?

For walls and cabinet doors, 20 mm is usually sufficient. For tabletops and loaded surfaces, we recommend 23 mm.

Can you cut oak panels to size?

Yes, in our warehouse in Lemmer we cut to your desired size for free.

What does an old oak panel cost?

Prices vary by variant and purchase. Please request our price list or visit us in Lemmer for a current quotation.

Do you supply furniture makers and interior designers?

Yes. From 12.5 m² we have bulk prices for B2B customers. We work with 100+ makers throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.

Yes, if properly treated. We recommend a natural oil for moisture and dirt resistance.
