In the esdorp Gees in Drenthe you will find a beautiful farmhouse in an old state: De Kebof. This family business started 26 years ago with antiques and restoration, and has grown into a furniture workshop including three showrooms with antiques from Asia, an art gallery, English show gardens with garden furniture and unrestored antiques. De Kebof specializes in the (custom) design and manufacture of wooden furniture, such as tables and cabinets. This is the heart of the business, where quality and service are paramount. By working with different kinds of wood, De Kebof is able to make custom made furniture for every price range, according to your own taste.

"It started as a hobby, so I was working with wood from an early age. After having been active for some time in the world of antiques, there was an increasing demand from the people around me for making furniture. Now, when someone comes to me with a request to have a cabinet made, for example, I discuss all the wishes and requirements as best I can. Together we put the ideas and necessary measurements on the table, and by asking specific questions - and especially listening - we make a design on the spot. In consultation, we can design various details; think for example of specific handles and drawers. Experienced furniture makers then work on the custom-made furniture in our own workshop.

We translate special wishes into a completely unique design for everyone. We do not work with standard sizes and materials. So you can contact us for products of various solid and/or old wood, such as oak, walnut and teak. Besides custom-made products, De Kebof is still the place to go for beautiful existing objects, new or antique. Antiques remain a specific passion, hopefully we know to inspire others with it as well."
